It's that extreme jazz that I can't get into but it's noise. Agh it's so overwhelming and then I love a part and then it goes back to fighting my brain.

Oh dear god, those myspace tracks....wtf!!! Man there are some just plain awesome segments, but they are unfortunately surrounded by some unbearable blasts of pure chaos. But man I'm not gonna lie, when this is good, its amazing. I think I will still have to get a hold of this.

For something similar- a bit weirder in some ways but more structured in others, can I recommend some dudes I knew vaguely at college, TrioVD

http://www.myspace.com/triovd

I like both bands quite a lot.

Anyone's up for Panzerballett? Imo, it's the best fusion of metal and jazz ever.

You recommended that to me ages ago when you were Stefan, and I reviewed it here:

It even has a dedication to you/Stefan at the start, I forgot about that

This Stephan reencarnation is a little amnesiac.
Good band, Panzerfaust.
Little Woman, going into my loooong to-listen list.

Panzerballett is good, no dout. I'll check out LW's myspace but the Naked City reference puts me off a little...

The saxophone and the randomness is what is going to make you think of Naked City. But it is instrumental and there is no distorted guitar.
