Elements in held far too high of a regard, it was a valiant effort yet it's experimental tendencies languished a bit, and the interest wore off due to the lack of power that Piece of timep possessed. This is an album that I'll definitely be checking out, as Atheist really has shown that they are masters of technical death metal.

This is a brilliant album - Second To Sun alone is amazing, better Tech-Death than Cryptopsy, musical wizards deconstructing music before your eyes.

I am not a huge death metal fan, however, that said, I make a few exceptions for bands such as Autopsy, Pestilence, etc.. Atheist has always been included in my pantheon of death metal bands. Truly awesome stuff in the past. So I'll have to give this a listen.
