You do an excellent job writing to those outside of the style, but I found the album a bit less spastic than Psalms of the Moribund. Cryptopsy is probably the bands biggest influence overall, and the album as a whole with songs like "Consumed by Repugnance" and "Engulfed into excruciation" takes a more slam influence. It's not a bad album in my opinion, its just as a whole more focused and less powerful than Psalms of The Moribund. I still spin it though and thanks for finally getting around to reviewing it

I rather like this album. It's not amazing or anything but an enjoyable listen that I'll likely come back to. I got their first album and got bored with it kinda early. It's all pretty fast paced in your face stuff and I like my breakdowns and what have you... This album sort of satisfies that a bit more. Plus the elements of slam are there.

Good times.
