Really great review Daniel! A bit short for my taste but that's ok ;)
I'd give the album a 80 / 100, because it's extremely good for the reasons you already mentioned, but Stefan has released better works like Green Hell, Third Requiem and Welcome Back In The Forest, and The Last Dance and The Black Laments Symphonie under the name of Eikenskaden. I'll add my score to your review...

Thanks Misha; and yes, Kozak is without a doubt one of the best BM artists around, and he has countless releases to back up this statement.

Is the production on this album better than on Green Hell? Green Hell was way too raw for my tastes..

Yes.... the album is less raw in every aspect, yet, it still manages to sound raw compared to all the popular "BM" acts.

Great, I will have to try it then. I don't mind somewhat raw production (Drudkh's newest for example), but there's still a line and Green Hell was WAY past it in my books.

Splendid album. A true BM gem.

Still like this one for a relaxing spin now and then. Nothing like accordions to evoke imagery of sipping wine in paris while wearing berets.
