Never checked this band out, sounds quite interesting. Where should I start? Blutsabbath seems like the best option.

I'd say Goatreich is their best, followed by Lucifer Incestus and Pestapokalypse VI. But Blutsabbath is quite good too.

I haven't given this one a listen, but I'm glad that it didn't turn out to be a stinker after all.

Blutsabbath is indeed one of their best. Great place to start.

As for Blood Magick Necromance, I found myself pleasantly surprised. Bondage Goat Zombie and Walpurgis Rites were both good albums but something was amiss. This album has something that Belphegor has been missing since Pestapokalypse VI. I don't know what it is, but it's there. I'd easily give this album an 85 or above. Can't wait to see them in concert in May with Hate. :dio:

I loved Bondage Goat Zombie. Pestokalypse never clicked with me like that one did.

Got the time to check this one out today.. This band is a lot of fun, and one of the few bands of the genre I can actually stomach. Pretty quality outing this, really liking it so far.
