Anyway, Core Device is indeed a killer band. The CD is excellent. I'll post another MP3 when I get the CD out of storage this weekend.

This will definitely please Nevermore fans as Ken said in his review. And wow!! Michael Romeo? How the hell are these guys not signed when they have Michael Romeo producing their album? That and the fact that they are damn good.

This is an awesome CD and it's good to see another review (besides the 2 on the Metal CD Ratings site... both with high ratings) for it.

I've had this CD for about a year and still listen to it a lot. :wink:

I have no idea how they're not signed yet. I've read reviews on their early demos that practically demand that they be signed. How they knocked out three demos and a full length produced by a guy in Symphony X, toured with some very killer metal bands, and not gotten signed is beyond me. Unless they're choosing the indie route, I can respect that.

Highly impressed with the mp3. The Nevermore comparison is of course spot on, but I also heard a bit of old-style Bodom in the melody at the beginning.

Not "this is Crap, and you should die for making me hear this piece of shit with such a nicely done review", its just not my cup of tea (well, at least that song wasnt), i just couldnt stand the vocals.

Well, I am surprised by that. I would probably say if you didn't like this song you wouldn't like the album. No big deal, though. To each his own and all that.

Where did you find it? :shock: Mine is in storage and I looked everywhere for it on P2Ps, but couldn't find it. I kept wanting to hear it after updating this review (it was pretty much already written). :(
