^^^Agreed. Was hoping this review would bring you out of your hiatus.

Motherland Ostvengr being one of the finest tracks. I don't even think the album is that derivative, honestly. The influences are there, but not too up front. Thanks for the review.

I've actually not heard them yet, as I never cared for Temnozor.
Though I do like Branikald, and some Nitberg...

I may have to check it out.
Question: how do they sound in comparison to Temnzor?

Much heavier. I know you've complained about Temnzor being "light" (I see your point), this band is not light.

Yeah, I'm checking them out and they are more along the lines of what I look for in black metal than Temnozor, who I always thought sounded too jaunty.

I'll pick this one up in time.

Meh, going to have to disagree with the review. It's alright but it doesn't grab me well enough to earn itself a score in the 90s.
