I would say this is the perfect marriage between the Panzer Division we all know and love, with drearily dark atmospheric stuff such as "Blood and Sunflowers" in the vein of Wormwood's more experimental stuff. Headhunter Halfmoon was varied blasting material with Mortuu's vocals a bit lower than the prior albums, perhaps all of the blood gurgling and throat searing is finally catching up with him. Of course the album is as furious as you'd expect any Marduk album to be, and its a logical continuation to their oddity that was Wormwood.
