It's not so much tech death as a mix of brutal death as well, along with Hour of Penance the band is the apex of this style of music. Frantic speed and endless brutality along with a sense of melody, separates them from a stagnant technical death scene of the US. Great review and I'm expecting their full length to be just as great as their last album

Heard about this band a lot. Looks very interesting, and from what I hear it's apparently less noodley than most other Tech Death garbage.

Very less noodly. Listening again, Steve has a point about it being brutal.

There's definitely tech death in there. I'm pretty sure just about every review site I've been to labels it that way, as well. I'd say it's a mixture of brutal/tech for sure.

This is so fucking killer. I so want to just rave about this after a single listen. With subsequent listens, it can only get better. Relatively, this is just as good if not better than Oracles.

Zad assumes the classical pieces are sampled. I'm thinking not with due to the title track on this. Anyone know for sure?

And the clean vocals? Are those the original singer's or someone else? I like 'em.
