I think the review and score are about right. It's a good album but not quite as legendary as the album the band is named after. Gorguts and Cynic are good references and I myself hear a bit of Death here and there. Either way, well worth looking into for fans of the aforementioned bands.

this is like an all star tech death band. just look at the band members, 2 ex necrophagist (drummer and guitarist) both of which are some of the most mind numbingly good musicians I have ever heard and then Jeroen Paul Thesseling of pestilence fame on bass. Then you add in the band being named after one of the greatest tech death albums ever and its not a stretch of the imagination to be disappointed with something so straight forward. its good for sure, but with a setup like that I was expecting something mind blowing and instead got a solid tech death album who wear their influences on their sleeves. oh well maybe next time :lame:

ooh i like this. they're a lot less over the top than something like Decrepit Birth, Origin, or Odious Mortem and that appeals to me.

also it got a vinyl release so i might have to get all up in that :D

origin's greatest work is antithesis, i can't find any merit in any of their older material.

Hmm... Guess I need to give it another spin. I thought it was pretty good but I wasn't blown away.

Picked this up today, and I like it. Often I am in the mood for some good melodic accessible technical death metal such as Gorod or The Faceless. Looks like I can add this to my go to list.
