Disagreed on the vocals, I like them better than on Köld.
And I like the album more than Köld too. In a way lighter, spacier approach, it's closer to their masterpiece (of Bitterness) with a more organic (natural) sound and better songwriting. Köld's still great, just not as great at Svartir Sandar and Masterpiece of Bitterness.
Other than that, I'm pretty amazed with the rate of the three albums reviewed here. In my opinion, they're all 90+ material yet their stuck in the low 80s. Strange...

Album of the year. Yeah, it could be a little shorter, but it's fucking brilliant. Not sure if it's better than Khold, or Masterpiece of Bitterness, the 3 are great.
And Fjari is really incredible. This fucking song has trapped me.
