I still remember when I first heard the sick, grotesque words of the late great Chuck Schulinder. I should give this a spin and let it run its despicabilty through my already warped mind. \m/

I'd give this albumin the low 70's...good for a death/thrash metal album of it's time, but nothing compared to Death albums like "Human", "Individual Thought Patterns" and "Symbolic", the highlight of Death's career.

True, but the fact that it was quite possibly the second CD released in the style it can be somewhat forgiven for not being perfect yet. Thus I didn't take off as many points as I would if someone released an equally flawed CD today.

I love this CD's name, but other then that, I agree with Jay.

I prefer 'The Sound of Perseverance' to 'Human,' though. Just sounds better to me.
