I was really disappointed with this to be honest. Was not impressed with their last album (Void) and this didn't do it for me either.

I really liked We Are the Void and since these songs are a continuation of that sound I also liked this ep. I think I read somewhere that Niklas Sundin said these songs had a different vibe than those that ended up on WATV so they decided to release them separately. I don't know which songs he heard but I think they would have fit perfectly on that record. If anything, We Are the Void would've been a stronger album if some of these songs had ended up on there.

Not that this is relevant at all but I'd also like to add that Mikael Stanne is one of the most friendly guys in metal today.

These are not new songs. They've been released in the past. All but the song "Zero Distance" were bonus tracks on various versions of We Are The Void, and all of them were on the tour edition of that album.

Great songs, but this EP is a cash-grab release. Digital only, as well.

Bugger about Digital Only.

I really liked We Are The Void too.
