I don't consider Tornillo a UDO clone. He has a wider range and a much richer voice as demonstrated by Blood of the Nations & Stalingrad where he does UDO...and more!

I agree. When has to sound like Udo, he sounds like Udo, but a lot of times his voice remembers me David Wayne.

One hell of an album. Cannot see any way this does not make my top 5 at the end of the year.

Id adore these guys if their vocalists didn't insist on sounding like a clone of that. AcDc vocalist. The music is solid if unremarkable overproduced heavy metal atypical of bands of their age.

Laugh at me all you want Udo is a horrible vocalist and so is this new guy. Its hard to listen to Metal Heart and not laugh at the guy.

They surely don't belong on Broadway, but they fit well with this type of music. I've always felt Udo got a bit too "gargle-y" at times, like he's singing while drowning, but Tornillo is not that kind of singer. In fact, he's far better than Udo.

In fact, he is UDO better than UDO can ever be. And the new Accept (Blood of the Nations and this one) is at least as interesting and exciting than that of Restless and Wild, Balls to the Wall, Metal Heart. I never thought that possible but it how I feel now.

I find Mark Tornillo a perfect fit for the new reincarnation of Accept. Does he have a gruff voice that could be compared to that of Brian Johnson? Sure, I guess there are some similarities in their singing styles but I'm not sure how that translates into a bad thing? AC/DC is one hell of a popular band and Johnson proved that he could handle the duties of taking over for a very popular vocalist in Bon Scott. Now I would never compare Udo's popularity to that of Bon Scott but Tornillo has filled big shoes here without issue. As for Accept's style of song-writing and the insinuation that they're 'old farts' in a young man's game...Accept sounds like they're remaining true to their style of metal. If you don't like it, that's fine but don't trash these guys for doing what they do best.
