Goat--where did you ultimately land on this one? It's a little too long, but there is some great material on here, impressed with how hard it rocks from taking advantage of the more modern production.
I was lukewarm on release but it has grown on me immensely since to the point where I consider it a mini masterpiece. Performances are of course terrific but the songwriting is sharp and memorable, with some of my favourite songs from them. Everything from classic rock flamboyance to groovy metallic heaviness on BU2B, to emotional prog... what an album to bow out on, RIP to one of the greatest drummers ever to pick up the sticks. And I hope Lee and Lifeson do something together at some point, but if they don't they should know what a wonderful final outing they provided us with. What a special act Rush was, one of my favourites. I have to put this album on again now!
