I can't believe I gave this a zero a few months ago, this is some great stuff. Definitely loving Castles in the sky and those rough vocals. Good stuff and definitely in my top of best for 2012.

So Steve, will you be returning to all those albums you gave a '0' and give them another chance? I doubt they all deserved zeroes.

The Spider's Thread crushes my soul every time I hear it, for some reason.

Very good band, I'm always looking forward to hearing their new material.

Not the biggest fan of the vocals, but they have a good sound.

Are you willing to stand by that statement for these guys:

Into glory ride and Hail to England are both great albums, not classics I'd wager given a few weaker tracks but I can't deny they are great albums from a band that will otherwise go unnamed.

Sign of the Hammer is a great album too, and so is Louder Than Hell.

Louder than Hell is by far one of the worst metal albums I have ever heard, anytime you can have riffs that uninspired and lyrics such as "If you like metal, you're my friend" then you have a recipe for an incredibly horrible album. I think the only time I laughed harder in an album was when I heard a ballad off of Hammerfall's Renegade and one of the lines was "You are the wind beneath my wings". But hey both bands are incredibly shitty so there you go.

That's the kind of shit that started my disliking for Manowar.

Just one thing, I think the phrase is: If you aren't into Metal, you are not my friend.

Guys, you take these things too seriously. Who cares if most power metal are actually what I'd call horseshit-poetry, only the music matters and the Kings of Metal used to deliver greatly especially on Louder Than Hell.

I differ, lyrics matter to me. I don't mind if the story is simply. Is more about the concept, the thematic. This whole thing about being true or false in Metal has always annoyed me, be it in Heavy/Power, Death or Black Metal.

Then, as it's the basis of Manowar lyrical craftmanship, this band's clearly not for you.
