Milan, nice review This album has really grown on me since I bought it last month and I'll admit that I like this one way more than I like the new Katatonia. If you like gothic melancholy metal you deserve to at least give it one listen because this is quality stuff.

Thanks, Raven! I really like this album and I've listened to it quite frequently ever since it came out like five months ago. I do prefer Katatonia's newest over this one though, albeit not that much. I guess that's because Katatonia aren't as close to the typical gothic metal sound as The Foreshadowing, which still doesn't really appeal to me. With that being said, I agree with you completely that anyone looking for some melancholic stuff with a gothic tinge to it should get this album asap.
