This album is much more rockin' than the last two and has more instrumentals as well. It's still growing on me.......

Nice to see you reviewing this album, it's certainly worth checking out, as is the rest of Trans-Siberian Orchestra's discography.
Are you planning on reviewing Beethoven's last Night?

My favorites are Back to a Reason (one of Savatage's best songs BTW), and Christmas Dreams.

Someone else mentioned about reviewing that one a while back. If I'm ever short for new stuff to review, that one would make a good archive review. I read somewhere that next year, they plan to take Beethoven's Last Night out on the road for a small tour...should be interesting........

I went to their show last year and they said that this year they will do Beethoven's Last Night , but I guess they won't.

Yes, there are still tentative plans to do a summer tour playing songs from Beethoven's Last Night and their upcoming non-Chirstmas album Nightcastle. But note that I said "tentative". Anyone who is familiar with TSO producer Paul O'Neill knows that he successfully meets deadlines about as often as fish climb trees. And yes, Marty, you should do an archive review of Beethoven's Last Night. It is one of the greatest pieces of music ever created!

Of course, as you can tell by my nick, I may be a bit biased.

Wow ! Great review !!! Apart from "Beethoven's Last Night" (which I liked very much), I never heard any other album of Trans-Siberian Orchestra but your review really want to make me hear this album...I'm really curious to know how it sounds...

this album its really good but for me Bethovens last night is the best Transiberian album, also you should try 'Jon Olivas Pain' if you like this kind of music.

Thanks for the comments......I absolutely love this album. The other two TSO Christmas albums are great too but this one's s bit heavier edged and emotional. I can't recommend this album enough.....it's great for Christmas time listening.

Marty.
