Gorthaur hasnt been replaced by Lord Sargofagian, I read from some interview that Gorthaur just couldt attend to the recording sessions so Lord Sargofagian did the drums on this one.

Oh, and this is IMO one of the best albums released this year, I am such a raging Horna fanboy, so I bought both the CD and LP version!!

Which ones bonustrack is better? on the CD version, there's "Kuilunhenki" but what's the title of the bonustrack on LP version?

LP version has way better bonuses (6 tracks more when compared to cd, total of 13), Sielunhaaska and Marraskuussa are very nice hymns. Actually, I think that Kuilunhenki is the weakest song on CD version.

Skartasis, what does the title mean, and what is the hidden meaning of being able to read it forward and backward?

It is Evangels of Satan x2, you know, read every second letter. It's the same backwards.

The album is good, but I found it to be very much a high quality Darkthrone worship. Good, but I think that the best Finnish assault so far has been Baptism's.

Notice they also have a split with the infamous Blackdeath .. does this mean Blackdeath deserves a re-interpretation?

The first song has a definite Ventures style riff in it.

Whatever... I hear more Transilvanian Hunger than anything, but I guess that's just me.

Spot on, as I said on an earlier post, it's pure Darkthrone worship, but a very good one.

And there's nothing wrong with that, as long as it's good.

This album has about 1/3 in common with Transilvanian Hunger.
