Congratulations for your great first review.Hope there will be plenty more to come.
I had this album for some time now and I think it's a bit weak than their previous ones.Tales Of A Tragic Kingdom is my fav. one.I miss songs like Strike Like Thunder and Let's Go.
I disagree about the vocals though.Joakim never sounded like Tony Kakko and I prefer him hitting those high notes more often.Besides that you hit the mark with everything else on this review.Especially the killer songs-Spellbound and Dance Of The Elements, the best on this CD.And your quote is quite accurate.
Keep up the good work. :)

Good album. I would give it an 80. It is like the new Freedom call in that it really grows after listen and is very catchy. I think the vocalists is somewhat similar to the singer from Europe, but that is just what I hear.
I think there coould have been more slow songs, but the result is still very good.

Downloaded some Infernal Majesty ok for early Slayer riffage ripoff, but not equal to this power metal metal at all. not even similar for that matter.
I know you were being a smartass nonetheless.

Talking about Majesty bands, check out Black Majesty. They only have 1 album out, Sands of time, and it's pretty good IMO.

As for this band, I haven't heard anything by them. Wich album should I start with?

Correction, they have 2 now.Silent Company has been released and it totally blows away Sands Of Time. But then again the two bands play different type of power metal so comparisons can't be made.

Yes they're different but at least they're both power metal so fans of the genre should check out both. I didn't know about Black Majesty's new album but if it blows away Sands of time then I will check it out for sure.

If you fall dead in France, what Black Metal album should we play on your funeral?

Look in the "songs to play at my funeral"-thread. Ulver - Bergtatt - I would be my first choice.
