Thanks Charles! Judging by the preview track on their myspace, I think you really captured the 'soundtrack quality' of their music in the review. In fact, in scope and ambient keys I was strongly reminded of another Italian diamond in the rough, Arcana Coelestia. So you haven't heard their previous work? I heard some of the last one, with the Primordial vocalist, and I quite liked it as well.

Yeah I hadn't heard them until that track on the "Better Undead than Alive 2" comp- I gather they'd been on hiatus for many years before this album. That comp is probably worth checking out if you get a chance, actually. (AFAIK none of the tunes on it appear on studio albums, and it features some of the metal world's elite.)

Definitely, this music is made for visual accompaniment.

This is quite great I have to say. I just purchased this not a few moments ago and have Human Antithesis in my library. It's quite fitting with my mood these days. 85/100.
