I've never heard the album or the band, but I really enjoyed the review.

The review is pretty dead on me thinks although it scores a little higher in my book.

I heard their previous release, and I thought it was an example of good metalcore.

dew-scented is a really good neo-thrash band (can't think of a most fitting description) but, like the reviewer, i'm a little disapointed by this new offering.

it sounds powerfull, the songs often remind me of old slayer but it lacks a little something... diversity in the songs structure, magic, whatever.

in short, a good album that, like the latest haunted, is not as good as one could have hope.

the slayer's crown contest is still open.

Revolver is the worst haunted cd, and probably one of the biggest disapointments ive experienced. I think the closest to receiving slayers crown is lamb of god, not because other they sound the same, they dont at all, but what there doing to the genre of thrash metal

true, revolver was also a major disapointment for me.
a few listenings have improved my impressions but the album is nowhere near it should have been.

i'm gonna check up lamb of god but if you have another names to give, feel free to do so.

for those who are reading this, issue VI is far better than revolver, just lacking something to make it special but a good neo thrash album nevertheless.

Slayer has no crown to give away. Merely popularity.
