I love this album. It's a high energy listen. I have read many comments stating that it is too difficult to follow because of the Polymetering and Polyrhythms, but that is something easily ignored if you choose. It shows this band developing into a major player in metal because they have separated themselves from the heap by finding an identity all their own. A long time ago I was getting into a band called Maharaj and I think they petered out, but Carbomb reminds me of an evolved version of that style. It's heady if you want it to be, but I think of it as just really fun jams. Kinda repetitive sometimes, but I'm actually okay with that cause I feel repeating sometimes gives a person a handle to begin grasping a song or an idea or style. Oh yeah, and I'm a huge fan of the artwork. Optical illusion artwork is my favorite.

Definitely. Five years ago, their brand of technicality wasn't a dime a dozen and so for them to come out and improve their formula surpassing the bands that have been at it for the last few years cranking out albums is quite impressive. I think the repetition is broken up well like I said in the review, but if you're not focusing on it, it definitely could get monotonous.

I do have to say that the album art looks a little simplistic to me, but it's not like Centralia's was any better.
