The Ocean got me with Helio and Anthropocentric albums. I really like the Anthropocentric album. What a great way to open an album. It's so powerful. As the symbols of the metaphysics of the hangman are taken off the walls. The lyrics are profound and thought provoking and it makes for a very interesting listen. My favorite tracks are She Was the Universe, Sewers of the Soul, and the title track. I will admit that a couple tracks walk the line of repetitive meandering so I wouldn't say that the albums are perfect, but they are very good. The whole, "you are trying to save me, but perhaps I am not lost" line gets kinda tired. I've heard their live performances are incredible too so I hope to see them live sometime. I'm looking very forward to this album. Anthropocentric was a top twenty album for me in 2010 so I hope to get the same out of this one. This band is something special for sure.

Insofar as they're on Summer Slaughter, I'm looking forward to seeing 'em.

The Ocean is the only band I like on that tour. Well, I liked Calculating Infinity, but everything after that has been disappointing to me.
