I am so excited to hear this album. I've been waiting for a long time for a second Ziltoid album. I've read two reviews and they were both some of the highest ratings I've seen. Hail Ziltoid!

I literally had no idea Devy had a new album coming out. Academics keeping me out of the loop lately. =( I'm sure I will enjoy this one when I pick it up. Lots of music from the madman to delve into soon.

Too durdly. Too much of a space opera, not enough metal. Even the moments that should have been like Ziltoidia Attaxx just failed. I don't like Deathray and March of the Poozers all that much. Devin Townsend is honestly in need of an editor at this point.

Yeah he used to be one of my favourite musicians but I can't be bothered to keep up with his new releases because the quality has dipped and there's so many of them. Really liked Ki, enjoyed Addicted, thought Ghost and Deconstruction had their moments, couldn't stand Epicloud and haven't listened to Casualties of Cool or much less this yet.

Totes agree. Casualties is good, though. It's just a lot to process. It reminds me a lot of Ki.

The first disc needs some more listens, but the Ziltoid half was great, easily one of the maddest pieces of music released this year. Although as far as actual song quality, I definitely prefer Epicloud.
