I waited too long to write a review of this.

I'd say Daylight Dies as a band has always been decent sounding, but fairly overrated, with Dismantling Devotion being the album where it all worked. I do commend you, Mr. New Reviewer, for posting sample tracks in your reviews. 'Dreaming of Breathing' doesn't really break any new ground, with the highlight being the doublebass section at about 3:30. Not a fan of the crunchy sounding production and overloud vocals in the mix, but the biggest problem, as always with this band, is the pedestrian songwriting.

Judging by the track posted, even 34.788% Complete would be better than A Frail Becoming.

Great album! Take the time to let it work. It is worth it. Saw them at Milwaukee Metal Fest like 15 years ago or something. They were great. I've liked them ever since.
