By the looks of it, it seems GWAR may have lent a touch of seriousness to this without taking away their sense of humour. Sounds interesting.

GWAR has been petitioned to play at the superbowl in 2015. Here's a link to sign the petition if anyone wants to contribute. This would be insane if they get enough signatures.

You mean that it would be obviously pointless insofar as it has no bearing whatsoever on the NFL's decision? Brockie himself said as much. Change.org is the dumbest thing ever.

As for the album, if Devy isn't producing then I just can't seem to care about GWAR. I really like Beyond Hell and nothing else.

Liked what he said though:

I'd like to see the public beheading of Gwar for near three decades of being a novelty band and releasing bland and boring music.

I really enjoyed the past few GWAR releases... They were actually solid metal albums that had the typical GWAR touches that I enjoy. There's some decent musicianship and thought on those albums but this one feels extremely by the numbers.

There's not one song that sticks in my head on this album, and during a couple listens I felt myself wishing for songs to be over already so I could listen to the next one.

Pretty disappointing although not horrible or anything.

Every GWAR album. One of the most overrated bands in the history of music.

Overrated by who? I've had to defend them on virtually every message board I've been on, even to metal head friends.

Because they suck.

Oh well since you put it that way I'm convinced.
