Was rather disappointed with this one. They've got some interesting ideas, and a sound all their own, but it's way too self-indulgent and meandering. If they can trim down the long stretches of nothing on their next album, I think they'll be onto something. For now, though, Hail Spirit Noir and Aenaon have the edge when it comes to 2014's prog-black releases.
