I have always liked this band. Shallow Life was the only album I was indifferent about. I really liked Dark Adrenaline and have found a new admiration for Christina Scabbia because of her performance on the latest Ayreon album. I have been listening to these guys for a long time and I agree that they stay pretty consistent. They have always had an accessible style of heavy metal/rock so I've never felt like they have become more or less commercial. They do what they have always done and I have always enjoyed it.

This album proves the band still has the creative juices circulating. From the late nineties downtuned Disturbed riffs to Scabia's very very chic vocals, this band has proved that the same formula works and that advancing your songwriting, artistry, and variation in songs mean absolutely nothing! Keep cranking then out Lacuna and keep being relevant to Euro metal fans!!!! \m/

CD was boring as piss. The riffs were boring, Christina tried, but failed, and Ferro sucks.
