This is not as good as The Land of New Hope, but it has some good tracks. I'm not a Fabio or Floor fan so that is going to sway my opinion obviously. However, I do like the Fabio tracks. His voice to me is merely acceptable and not as moving as say a Russell Allen or obviously the godlike vocals of Michael Kiske. You know what, screw this album and just listen to the new Unisonic EP's first two tracks three times in a row and you will enjoy yourself more. Anyway, I agree with the Rise of the Fourth Reich comment. The music is somewhat contrived, but the vocals are just terrible. I don't know Virgin Steele at all, but I can only assume he must have sounded good at some point to release that massive body of work. The production seems cloudy in comparison to the previous Avalon. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think the vocal talent is as good on this album. Don't get me wrong, there are a few very strong tracks, but the overall feel seems jagged and somewhat random. I love the Zach Stevens track and the Fabio tracks, but The Rise of the Fourth Reich just sucks bad. The rest is kinda meh for me. Floor is just not impressive to me. She's no Anneke, Christina, Simone, Tarja, or Elize. She just has no character or emotion IMO. I would give this album a 76, but I have some strong personal opinions about the vocalist selection.

Depends on the style you like. Fabio may have a better gange overall but personally i prefer Allen's tone to Lione by quite a bitr
