Good stuff from the Buffalo gore masters. Way more memorable than their last couple of releases. I would put it up a little higher at 75/100.

And there is only one Motorhead, Zaddy.

Ha, true, but it's going to be interesting watching bands age and seeing if they hit that same reliability...

Solid for what it is and nothing more really.

I liked some of the slower riffs, and High impact splatter was a good song that will likely be a high energy number to their already amazing set.

This band has done all they can do really.

Corpse is very similar to Motorhead in the way that there isn't a whole lot to differentiate between a good and a mediocre album from either band. All the same elements are consistent with pretty much every release with a few minor changes here and there. Sometimes the songwriting is just stronger and more cohesive, the riffs and guitar interplay more inspired, the production fitting the music just right. I think the CC formula works well here and this record just keeps growing on me the more I listen to it.

Corpse was never a band who tried to reinvent the wheel. They do what they do. It's all really just an excuse for them to get back on tour and kick everyone's asses. As you said, these songs should fit quite nicely in their live set. Fire Up the Chainsaws!!
