Very interested in hearing this. Will have to purchase one of those prepaid visas to buy this online alongside with some other recent releases.

I absolutely love this album. It has a slight dip in quality in the middle but the first 2 tracks, Lagnaetti and Otta, and the final 2, Midaftann and Nattmal more than make up for it in my opinion. You can't really consider it metal anymore. Svartir Sandar still had some of the harshness of Köld but here it's gone completely.

But rather than complaining about that, I'd like to appreciate what we get in return. Beautiful soundscapes and sublime atmosphere. The piano parts on Lagnaetti and the banjo on Otta are a particular highlight. A banjo! You'd think they are insane but it fits the song perfectly.

Beautiful album, perfect for winding down after a long day. My second favourite post metal album this year after Alcest's Shelter.
