I really liked the first song on Resolution cause it reminded me of The New American Gospel days when they would incorporate slower durge doom stuff into their tunes. I always missed that. The album as a whole was underwhelming, but how you start is so important and at that point in their career, I felt it was a brave move to start the album with that. To me it said, we are not conforming to shit.

Unfortunately, I feel that has changed. I don't want Lamb of God to be getting Chino to do guest spots on their album. I love the Deftones BTW; well love is a little strong. I love a handful of songs by the Deftones. Swerve City pounds and there are quite a few more I like from my high school days, but I would rather smash my face into the counter than listen to an entire Deftones album. Case and point; I can listen to the new Moonspell all the way through and be completely satisfied.

I want Lamb of God to be pissed off and drunk and rowdy. I want them to push buttons. I want them to be creative and different. What I don't want is this album. It's Lamb of God by the numbers on most tracks and then some weird clean stuff and guest vocals and UGH! Can't you just forget the stupid build up from the prison drama and guest vocals and get back to dark and foreboding.

That prison term skyrocketed Lamb of God into this crappy place that music like theirs doesn't belong and they followed suit like a bunch of fucking sheep. I'm not impressed and I don't give a fuck how much time he served. I certainly don't wanna hear a whole album about it. Blythe has been tamed by the reality check he got overseas. Touring the world doesn't teach you about other cultures most times, but he got a healthy dose of see how lucky you are and it made him soft. This is whinny instead of angry and it comes off as almost ostentatious. Like, I spent time in a Czech prison dude! You'll never understand what I've been through man! Well, I don't want to because this is the Randy Blythe show now and I don't like it! My score is UGH! When does the movie come out?

If you've heard any of the Killer Be Killed tracks, it is rather easy to pinpoint that as Puciato. That being said, song was awful. I can't handle the awkward voiceover.
