This review makes me fear them devolving into Anaal Nathrakh repetition. Album simply wasn't as fun as the originality of Monolith. Nothing quite matches that moment of hearing the clean vocals in Piece of Meat after being a fan of theirs for five or six years before at that point.

Guest spots are great. Have loved those since Jarboe on Harvest Floor. Album is great. Zad criticizes the chug on Krokodil, but I dug it. Mutual Assured Destruction and Apex Blasphemy had some really memorable moments that I dug. Probably my two favorites tracks thus far. Sadly, the album kinda just blurs together. While the clean vocals on Monolith really set it apart, they kinda just dissolve into the mess in this album. That being said, still the best death metal album that I've heard in two years.
