I remember a time where when I was very young that I listened to glam bands like Cinderella,Motley Crue and Poison but now my taste in music has changed for the better and I consider glam a dead gender in metal now so why do some bands continue to chug out stuff like this I don't understand why trying to relive that magic of glam 80's is like trying to ride a dead horse.

This is just my opinion though if there are those who still like stuff like this then cool but me give me stuff like Blind Guardian anyday.

Yeah.... I can understand why you say it's beating a dead horse.

Still, I like this genre, even though there are literally thousands of cd's from the 70's, 80's, & early 90's in this vein. Many of them were good, and of course, many were not so good. Having said that, I'll give a glam / sleaze album from today a fair chance. However, it has to stand out to be worthwhile for me, there's just too much of this stuff out there to mess with mediocrity. Gemini Five don't make the cut for as you can tell. Recent bands such as Snakeryder and Seven Ten have done it right. Check them out.
