86/100 from me (and purchased on Bandcamp during their first Friday promotion where all revenue goes to musicians https://www.spin.com/2020/05/bandcamps- ... r-artists/). Track 3 'Ussi' is a track of the year candidate (as Goat suggests a bad trip) and track 5 'Kuulen' isn't far behind: their use of electronics is really interesting to say the least. Only thing that it brought it down a bit for me was not being impressed with track 2 which I generally skip.

But track 2 (Tyhjyyden sakramentti!) is the one with the Robert Fripp-y guitar break and later synth line collapse into an existential nightmare! It might not have spooky fragmented female vocals but is very much worth your ears, I'd implore you to give it another go.

Glad you liked the rest, however, definitely an album of the year contender. Plus one for that Bandcamp shout-out, it really is a great way of directly supporting artists even when we're not facing a fucking pandemic.

I've listened to the album multiple times now, but I'll give that track 2 a few more tries just for you. And Bandcamp first Fridays should definitely be on people's minds given how screwed musicians are by a lack of gigs right now. I got Vein/the Code Orange I didn't have/Ruins of Beverast/Spiritbox/More Julie Xmas/Thy Catafalque and Oranssi back on May 1st!

In case you missed it: their livestream concert, which I caught the second half of. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfANRKPnC8M The trombone part was pretty cool!
