BLS have never been that good to me. Like a lot of stuff nowadays, it's well-played but without depth or soul. Let the kids think they've discovered heavy metal, whilst the rest of us in the know listen to the real deal. Fuck, even Ozzy solo is better than most of BLS.

 BLS have indeed their own character and are a unique band! I can't imagine you can accuse them of having 'no depth or soul'

Man, BLS are amazing! This guys gets in the studio almost every year and rips out 30 songs in two days...from scratch! And he still manages to created music with more integrity and balls than 99% of the bands out there that spend 2 years in pre-production.

I don't like every BLS song, but to say this band has "no depth or soul" is outrageous! Zakk is one of the few artists that I have complete faith in as a fan when it comes to music. The guy is phenomenal.

By the way, how many new words did Aleksie just make up? :D

Excellently put, comparde. If there is a guy who busts his ass totally for rock n roll, its Zakk. And does it so well, even. Must be the weightlifting or Sierra Nevada ale. Im hoping its the beer, or my attempts at imitation are doomed.

As for new words, I hope the amount was above the number of digits in the standardized human hands. I try to keep a good pace of at least 1 new term/3 reviews going. It´s getting pretty fucking hard, especially when trying to find new words that mix well with "groove". Ive used pretty much everything my English bends to  Gotta have the groove, the groove is the nuclear juice, the essence, the real deal, the main event, the SHOWWWSTOPPAAAAAHHH! May Eduardo Gori Guerrero rest in peace.....sigh.....gotta watch some wrestling while there is still some brews left. Orale, ese vato! Viva La Metal!

So he can vomit up a large amount of songs; good for him. Integrity? He has completely copied Ozzy's singing style. Fuck, he even sounds like him!!

Like modern metalcore, well-played but lifeless.

We obviously measure our musical heroes in different ways.

He hasn't copied Ozzy at all. He's simply grown as a singer! You could hear that sound coming through all the way back on the Pride & Glory album.

I hope you're not just talking about "Stillborn" here. And sorry, his voice had that tone on his very first solo album. It's natural.

Maybe someone should get him some spray or something.
