Nice review, ill give it a chance later, there are some excellent thrash bands from Brazil (Chakal, Torture Squad, Sarcofago, just to name a few) so this might be interesting.

So what happened Ken? i didnt know you were into thrash :)

Yeah, it's definitely raw! It's a great EP, though. So I presume it arrived? What, a whole 8 1/2 months early, right?

It arrived on tuesday I think, atleast a few days ago. The singer is a definate high point!

For people who don't like the old Eyeshaw, it cost $4.20 to send the thing, and if you want we can pretend I stole that and the CD off him.

Keeping everyone happy.

Brazilian thrashers SCARS are contuing to write material for their new CD, tentatively due later in the year. In the meantime, the band has decided to make its "The Nether Hell" EP (2005) available for free download via its official web site. The package includes the full album, four bonus tracks and complete artwork (by Gustave Doré). The free download starts March 1 and ends March 31 at this location.

"The Nether Hell" featured a lyrical concept based on "The Divine Comedy" by Dante Alighieri (same book that SEPULTURA's "Dante XXI" was inspired by). The EP's musical direction was previously described in a press release as "furious thrash metal and some death metal influence."
