I gave this a 90/100 a great album. Much better than the old ones, better production and more consistent.

Every Bolt Thrower album is the same, but they're all equally good. They're one of those bands wherein you know exactly what you're purchasing, but if you like it, you won't mind the lack of surprises.

Someone on this board suggested this band to anyone who likes Amon Amarth, and I can see why. I loved The Fate of Norns, but had never heard of Bolt Thrower before, so I said what the hell, and picked this up on a whim. It's perfect for when you want some death metal, but not something insanely fast and heavy. I like the simplicity of it actually, it's very relaxing.

P.S. is that Pleasure to Kill album worth getting if I liked Enemy of God?

It's rawer 80's german thrash metal... less technical, somehow more punky but sure, do try it... it's a good album although not Kreator's best (I would say Extreme Aggression (1989) is)
