Excellent review. Cool to find some others who like Lacrimosa ( well, STILL NO REVIEWS for the exellent/surreal/mindblowing pair of albums that are STILLE/ELODIA).

This is a return to the "heavier" style they used mostly on Stille, but also on Elodia (those thundering A.C drums !!!), but IMHO it doesn't reach that level... I was introduced to Lacrimosa with Inferno...cool album, but Stille was a quantum leap forward and Elodia might be their peak (at least lyrically it's pure poetry genious).

SO what I really wanted to say/write : PLEASE,PLEASE review those two albums (might place one of those in the classics section, for the sheer perfection it reaches in its musical category). It may be a real possibilty for others to discover this awesome band.

This is a band I've been interested in for a while, but whenever I visit the site the samples don't work. Anyone know anywhere else I can hear 'em?

Good review.

Sounds interesting!

Listened to one song on www.progarchives.com (from the Fassade album) and it sounds really, really good. Not really a lot of guitars on that particular song (as mentioned in the Lichtgestalt review) but very dark and dramatic.

If their other albums are at this level or better, this is a band to keep in mind for sure!

Wow, this album is great! I'm definitely enjoying this album right now.

Are there any other bands similar to this?

Nice review. I'll have to get this, I like all Lacrimosa albums. I don't think there's anybody like them, they're pretty unique. And yes, Tilo Wolf is a genius, no doubt about that. The man could write symphonies if he'd wanted to.

I've been into this album since sometime past now, and I like it more than when I started to listen to it...
