Tea, biscuits, and DEATH FUCKING METAL............... and TITS!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a very wicked album. At first it went by as a blur, mostly because of the fuzzed-out production. But upon second listening, I looked underneath and found some really amazing things at work. For one, I could actually hear the fucking bass, and boy did it sound
nefarious.
These guys definitely draw from a ton of genres; one of the songs (I think it was Flatliner) sounded like black metal at one point, and the intro really threw me off.
However (as I told you over MSN Messanger), even if you discern the things behind aforementioned fuzz, some of the songs still sound painfully chaotic -- The Furnace being the worst offender.
Despite its flaws, it gets a solid 90 from me.
