This stuff sounds pretty awesome, although I really haven't heard enough death metal to know if it's amazing or just good. It's definitely good, though...on the wishlist.

Complex Machine is one of the coolest songs I've ever heard. I seriously need to get this.

Just bought this off of Ebay. I'll give you my thoughts once I hear it, Zaddo.

This is a very wicked album. At first it went by as a blur, mostly because of the fuzzed-out production. But upon second listening, I looked underneath and found some really amazing things at work. For one, I could actually hear the fucking bass, and boy did it sound nefarious.

These guys definitely draw from a ton of genres; one of the songs (I think it was Flatliner) sounded like black metal at one point, and the intro really threw me off.

However (as I told you over MSN Messanger), even if you discern the things behind aforementioned fuzz, some of the songs still sound painfully chaotic -- The Furnace being the worst offender.

Despite its flaws, it gets a solid 90 from me.

I like I like This is quite the album. Top of the year for me.
