a few touchstones are Esoteric, Nortt and Skepticism, and also Xasthur and Shining.. anything dark and enveloping, basically.

and oh man that review was pompous. I stand by it but it's basically a huge flame against humanity, haha.

This is great; I love the pipe organ effect that sounds so damn ominous.

I suppose a serious complaint could be the lack of variation (i.e. was is totally necessary to make that much music?)

Sorry I missed this "pompous" review. Thanks for continuing review quality material, Dee. I understand GD's criticism and I somewhat agree with him, but still this metal is not stale or formulaic. After a couple listens I'll give it an 84/100.
