I'll read the review when I get off work, but my wcore for the album is a 50/100. But, I know I'm going to have to give it another spin.

Wow, the difference between this album and STYE is pretty much night and day. After one spin I rate it around 70-75 compared to 30-40 for STYE.

I gave this exactly 50/100 because listening to it was like being abducted for three quarters of an hour; once you're finished, you're returned to your chair with no positive or negative experiences or memories relating to their music. like extreme elevator music

Oldu, Ingilizce konuşak.

I did like a few riffs. But totally this albums blows. It sucks ass. I don't care if it is catchy. Like the reviewer said it's catchy, catchy, catchy. And nothing else and in my book catchy = cheap. There might be some hooks here and there but this album was solely made for the purpose of being catchy which is something that mallcore kiddies like and I hate. I've heard too much fucking music to know that catchy riffs are boring if you've heard it 2-3 times. You've heard this albums once, you got it all, no need to repeat it.
I could go on...

And how'd you rate this 98/100 ? Don't you think that Clayman, Colony, Whoracle, TJR are better ? They obviously are. And how'd you rate them then. 135/100 ? 200/100?

clearly an improvment from their last 2 albums. this is in fact almost as good as Colony/Clayman. Because this album simply rocks (nu-metal influences or not, I dont care)!

I don't hate this (fourth group, huh!), but neither do I find it as awesome as fans of the band do. Not into melodeath much, since most of it is predictable and boring, but I heard Touch Of Red from the last album, and didn't especially like it. I have also heard Take This Life from this album, and whilst it isn't the Greatest Song Ever, it is a hell of a lot better than STYE's material. People who automatically shit on this band should take another look, this isn't that catchy, but enough to sell. Give them credit for what they have achieved, stepping both forwards and backwards by keeping the catchiness, yet returning to their metallic roots. I'd give it late 60s score if I was into this.

And Lizardtail, unless you go and give every single melodeath review on this site 50/100, that is very harsh.

I don't think In Flames can ever win no matter what they do. It may be partly their fault for releasing the last 2 albums and for touring with whom they did.

I am one of the few that did not mind the last 2 albums and thought they were quite good despite some of the Nu-Metal and modern influences. However I do feel that Come Clarity is a much better effort and a return to form for the most part. I love that you can actually hear the guitar harmonies again and that there are more solos. Though I still don't see why there can't be more solos?

Overall though, the song writing is just great and I agree with the reviewers score of 95! Anders vox sound better than ever both death and clean. The best album I have heard in 2006 so far and will easily be in my top 5 of the year!

This album isn't bad. Has some enjoyable songs. I'll still have to see what I think of it in a few months to know what kinda score it deserves but right i now i'd say some where in the low to mid 80's.

A great improvement from the boring STYE, but I think the score is too high. It's not as good as the old releases, I think about ten points less (82-85) is what it deserves.

I don't know about the album, but your review Jason made for some good reading. 'Thumbs up'
