OH COME ON!!!i 've listened to the album just because i love Stauch's drumming in Guardian...But it was so similar with guardian that it was annoying. If i want to listen to tales somewhere far beyond and imaginations i think i'll listen to the originals. No character i hate that to an album

I'm a bit torn. I see both points. I guess sometimes I don't care if it's original so long as I like it. This I like, but I'd still rather hear Imaginations or Nightfall

I can't wait to get my hands on this album. I've heard a few sample songs and based on what I heard this will be in my top five for the year.

Yeah. I have mine ordered and am anxiously checking mailbox for this. I hope it is as similar is i am guessing to mid BG. I am actually not patient enuff with 4 to 5 year gaps between albums only to have them end up as good as waiting 6 months to a year :(

Is this yet another, Masterplan/Helloween, Shaaman/Angra-type situation?

Yeah except I'll bet these guys will come up with a future classic with each release.

Havent heard the album itself, I've only heard clips from the website...but sadly I think this is just going to be more generic power metal....there's no way it can match or even come close to those early BG albums.

I like BG but this I don't know.It sounds so like BG if you were to stick a BG CD in a CD changer and this CD in the same changer, listened to both you could have sworn it was 2 Blind Guardian CD's

I don't mind a band being influenced by another or even ex members starting something similar but this is just to clonish for my tastes.

But as of now I'm listening to some of their stuff so I am open minded I might give them a chance if I like the songs if not then I will stick with CD's like Nightfall In Middle Earth.

After listening to 2 tracks I like the stuff here.Ok like I said it sounds 100% like BG but the songs are good enough for me especially Ghost Story so I will be getting this CD real soon.

Ok just checked out some of the songs from the website. Its not as bad as I previously thought....its a mixture of Iron Savior and BG....more Blind Guardian than Savior, but Piet singing is going to remind me of Iron Savior no matter what the music sounds like. I like it better than the last Blind Guardian album, but I can't help but lump them in the clone category. No one other than Blind Guardian sounded like BG, and now there is another band that sounds like them....and through process of deduction .....I have arrived at the conclusion that they are a BG clone band.....but they do it well.

SO all in all I'll say I was suprized.

I wonder what the guys in BG will say when they hear this.

Kursch will probably wonder if he was a part of some genetic cloning process :D

My only problem with this record is that sometimes they play some really boring riffs. Not all the time, but when they do it really sticks out. And most of Piet's vocal lines remind me of Eye to Eye off of Unification. Its not that they sound exactly the same, they just have the same feel to them.
