This year is fucking epic for death metal. This one really surprised me though, best vocal performance of the year.

Why couldn't every death metal band sound like this?

Cripes -- more death metal? And to think I already have enough on my 'buy list'.

Will check 'em out later tonight...

The singer sounds like the bastard child of John Tardy and Matti Karki. Me likey.

Not to mention this one really explains who beat the Nazis in the WWII. Whether you like or not, it was Red Russia, almost despite Stalin's blunders, who was responsible to turning the tide. Not exactly what they emphasize in the history books here in the US.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the vocals?

That's too bad, i guess they are a love or hate kind of thing... For example when i first heard Asphyx i fell in love with them not because of the music, but because of the fucking sick vocals... Really this guy does shit not many could do.

The Entombed-influence here is crystal clear, sounds good but I don't like the vocals, remind me of old Obituary. Those kind of growls are just disturbing.

The first time I heard SWR that drum roll kicked in and then "YEEEEUUUUUUUURRRGGGHHHHH" and I nearly fucking smashed the car up, some of the best vocals ever.

Hate/love vocals. I've always hated it.
