Thanks Marty. Great news this one. Can“t wait to get my hands on it. Ten tons more metal in this than there is in most "so called" metal bands.

Sure it is......these guys were very influential to the whole glam rock thing as well as the "hair metal" era of the 80's. Their influence on the punk scene is evident and there's even an interview on this DVD with Joe Strummer of The Clash saying how he was so blown away and immediately knew what he wanted to do with his life when he saw the Dolls in London in the early 70's. Punk influenced early NWOBHM bands like Saxon and Iron Maiden as well as Motorhead who loved the speed and agression that punk music had. Without punk music, I don't think that Dave Mustaine would've had the attitude in his music that made Megadeth so unique (they covered the Pistols Anarchy In the U.K.). So...this little band of cross-dressers from New York really had quite an impact on the music that came after them although not really surviving as band long enough to enjoy any great success. Heavy metal music is a melting pot and there's a huge family tree of influences. As far as I'm concerned, whether I really like this band or not, they're part of that family tree......major event?? Absolutely.....this is the first performance by the remaining members in over 27 years and they've finally been captured on DVD. Sometimes people need a little "history" lesson once in a while......
