I always liked Kalmah more than CoB. This album kind of let me down, I didn't like this one as much as the previous ones, but I haven't listened too much so it may grow on me, it's good but just not as good. Or maybe my tastes have changed since the last album, this one just didn't click. Well, at least this isn't a sellout faggy crap fest like the latest Cob, so hailz to Kalmah!

i thought it was good, but being good in a genre that has about 5000000000 bands sounding exactly the same as you really isn't enough

Great album - heavy, fast, melodic with great solos. It gets less impressive with each listen but it's still quite enjoyable. Those vocals sure are hard to get used to. Definitely a band worth checking it's previous albums.80/100

Best songs: Defeat, Man Of The King and Mindtrust

by the way, do any of you know where to get lyrics for 'the black waltz'? i've tried darklyrics.com but to no avail. neither does any other site have it.

Loved this cd right from the get-go. I am a bit of a Kalmah fanboy, and I have always liked them a lot more than COB. I like how they have stuck with their original sound and have tried expanding on it, unlike COB (as stated in the review).

Great job on the review, as it was well-written and pretty thorough. Keep up the good work.

And Kalmah owns. 'Nuff said.
