I agree with just about everything you said in your review. Good album, a worthy Masterplan album, but it could have used a little more speed.

I'm gonna score this once I hear the full version album. I didn't really mind the fades on their debute promo but I kinda get the feeling the fades happen earlier on this one.

Never really understood all the hype surrounding this band. Sure they have a few good tunes and some big name musicians but aside from that they sound like a pretty typical run of the mill melodic metal band. Not bad, but not great either........

Before they released the last cd they put out a ep but I was pissed to find the songs were also on the full length cd so it was a waste of money. When bands like Edguy release an ep you know the majority of tracks wont be on the album and that's great for fans.
Haven't heard the new one but will miss the old drummer prefer the way he plays he has a very natural style.

The first two albums were awsome in my opion. When I heard Jorn left the band I was really curious who would take over the mic.
I was glad to found out Mike would be singing on the new album.

MK II turned out to be a real solid album, not as strong as the first two but good enough.

What? The Lost And Gone EP has a multimedia part with a long interview and a video. Plus it has an intro, "The Master Voice" and "Dying Just To Live," both exclusive tracks. Also, the Back For My Life EP had exclusive tracks, as did the Enlighten Me CD single. You thinking of the right band?

And this new album is excellent!

The EXCLUSIVE tracks on Back for life ep which is the one I was talking about are bonus tracks on my version of Aeronautics which if I'd known wouldn't have bought the ep.
The new album is just another solid power metal cd doesn't come close to Heavenly's latest and not as good as first two Masterplan releases especially the debut.

I thought "Treasure World" was the only bonus track for that album. Do you have the 2CD version or the version with 4 extra tracks? Either way, it doesn't matter, I guess.

So as lately I've really been getting into Masterplan, and I'm now trying to like this album as much as their self titled and Aeronautics. The thing is i can't seem to enjoy Mike DiMeo's style in singing, its seems there was some sort of delay when recording his tracks, like he's always a slight bit behind the beat.

This is probably just his way of doing things and not some recording error, but it bugs the hell out of me.

So does any one agree or am I the only one?

I'm really not worried though since Jorn is back and the next album will kicka ass.
