Yeah it's nice to read Misha's review of the album! A large part of this band's makeup could be described as post-punk (at least in my limited understanding of the term), but it's really so much more diverse and energetic than that implies. Really, the atmosphere that this album emits when turned up loud is great. Really wild sounding and aggressive in parts, but also so professional and well played.

Ill listen to the samples later, but comparing them to hawkwind definitely makes me want to hear it!

wOOt !

Vágtázó Halottkémek & GIAA the same week ! 8) isn't it too much quality for the metalheads ? you're going to get sacked for getting the herd out of the metal paths

anyway, nice to read your quality prose on what I would dare call "the most exquisite progressive tribal post punk adventure there ever was"... :D

Thanks! Would you care to share some other less exquisite progressive tribal post punk adventure bands with me? ;)

i had no idea who you were talking about untill you called them the Galloping Coroners. I don't even know where to start with pronouncing their real name.....its probably with the V on second thought but from there on it gets a bit tricky.

I don't know what to say about these guys.... very strange in a cool way would be the unarticulate way of puting it. Never heard this record, only reconquering eden part 1. All i know is when i hear this i'm gonna be surprised by some of the stuff they do, and i'll be surprised if they don't surprised me, so i'm guaranteed to be surprised, just glad i don't have a pace maker.

Reading the review this seems like a great band... but I'll never be able to find anything where I live, nor with my downloading program either probably. could someone tell me how I can get them?

That's a fair comparison plus I hear lots of Daevid Allen influence. But they have a totally unique sound and -despite some passages which are quite an ordinal- there are plenty of moments of inspired musicianship. The legions of liveless, clinical bands should take a leaf out of their book. I love this band.

Bought this yesterday. Not given it a proper listen yet, but so far so good.

£5.99 from local Record Shop, suckas! You should be able to find it here.

And it's awesome. The vocals really aren't an issue...

Glad you like it Zadster, I think it's the record I played most out of all records I have. First time playing I didn't notice it's a live recording.
