I have heard the song a few times now, and I don't think it bites on quite like their older stuff did. Its just become... more ordinary. I'm sad to say but this track doesn't hold the charm and capturing melodies of the earlier Bodom. I mean, Lake Bodom got me by the balls the very first second I heard the song, and Downfall also... But this track.
It just lacks a certain something...

Just love the song.

But I'm somewhat surprised that the reviewer failed to mention that the song sounds sooooooooo FTRish...

Seriously, 50% Hatecrew and 50% Follow. Simple as that.

ANyway, huge fan of FTR here, so I sure as hell ain't complaining, eh.

Hmm, funny, cause I dont really think the new song sounds like FTR at all. Extremely Hate Crewish but much more simplistic and straight-forward then anything on FTr. Reaper is more "classicaly" influenced still in my mind, so that may be the reason also. But either way, both kill marvellously so who gives a damn:)

the new song ain't bad, sure it's classic Bodom HTR era, simple & straight foward... not bad at all but... I was hoping to see CoB tryin' something new on this one... maybe on the album ! Bodom symphony pleeeeaaaaase !!!

the VK song was crap by VK, it's still crap by CoB but (a little) better crap.... not their best cover either...

so, it's not a disappointment yet but it doesn't give much hope on a groundbreaking new CoB album...

Bodom, in my opinion, always release the weakest or one of the weakest tracks on their upcoming CD's as singles. Not bad tracks mind you, just weak one's compared to the rest of the CD usually.

I picked this up on a lark, but now it looks like I'll have to become a screaming COB fanboy. Older stuff's even better than this one, hmm? Hehehehe...
